Trolling and longlining are among the most sustainable and humane fisheries on the planet.
We belong to a small boat fleet that catches one fish at a time. In a world where most seafood is caught by destructive factory trawlers, our individual hooks and lines have been used in the same manner for hundreds of years. We limit our catch to produce quality over quantity. We do not use nets and each individual fish is cleaned and iced immediately. Our certified plant complies with all federal regulations under the HACCP.
COMMUNITY SUPPORTED FISHERY:
OUR MODEL
A Community Supported Fishery (CSF) is a sales model that allows customers to buy directly from fishermen. Modeled after Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs, a CSF provides high quality seafood while benefiting both the consumer and the fisherman.
A CSF creates a transparent chain of custody from fishing boat to dinner plate. The customer has access to reasonably priced fish, and the fisherman maximizes the value of their catch and minimizes impact on the resource.
HOW TO BUY OUR CATCH:
There are two ways to purchase seafood with us. Purchasing fish through a local "Fish Club" allows you and other seafood-lovers in your area to save on shipping costs. When you purchase through a fish club, you pick up your order from the club host in your area.
If you don't live near one of our fish club locations, you can now purchase seafood boxes that ship direct to your door via our "Direct Orders" option.
